What Ghost does
Ghost is a headless-friendly publishing platform focused on writing, newsletters, and paid subscriptions rather than general page building. It includes built-in email newsletter delivery, membership and subscription billing, and a clean editor. Independent writers and publications use it in place of a general-purpose CMS. Its editor and members API are also commonly used headless, powering custom-built frontends that pull content through Ghost's own API.
