What Node-RED does
Node-RED is a browser-based flow editor for wiring together devices, APIs, and online services using a library of reusable nodes. It grew out of the IoT world and is common for home automation and simple integration tasks where a full automation platform is overkill. Its dashboard nodes also let users build simple control panels for monitoring or triggering flows without writing frontend code.
