What Akaunting does
Akaunting handles bookkeeping, invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting for small businesses, built on a modular PHP architecture with an app store for extensions. It's aimed at businesses that want QuickBooks-style accounting without a subscription. Its app store adds modules for payroll, point of sale, and additional payment gateways as a business grows.
