What Hermes Agent does

Hermes Agent is Nous Research's agent framework, built around their Hermes model family, for running an autonomous or semi-autonomous assistant that plans tasks and calls tools. It is aimed at developers who want an open agent stack rather than a closed hosted assistant. Because it's tied to the Hermes model family, it works especially well when paired with self-hosted Hermes model weights.
