What Open WebUI does
Open WebUI is a ChatGPT-style web interface that connects to Ollama or any OpenAI-compatible API, adding chat history, multi-user accounts, and document upload for retrieval-augmented answers. Teams use it to give a shared, private front end to whichever LLM backend they run. It also supports retrieval-augmented generation, image generation plugins, and voice input for a more complete assistant experience.
