What Grafana does
Grafana visualizes metrics, logs, and traces from sources like Prometheus, InfluxDB, or Loki into customizable dashboards, with alerting built in. It's the visualization layer most self-hosted monitoring stacks are built around. It also supports its own alerting engine, so dashboards and notification rules for the same metrics live in one place.
