What PostHog does
PostHog combines product analytics, session replay, feature flags, and A/B testing in one platform aimed at product and engineering teams building software, not just marketing sites. Self-hosting keeps user behavior data in-house instead of a third-party analytics vendor. Because analytics, flags, and replay share one data model, correlating a feature flag rollout with usage changes is straightforward.
