What BookStack does
BookStack organizes documentation into a hierarchy of books, chapters, and pages with a WYSIWYG and Markdown editor, aimed at teams that find wiki software too unstructured. It's commonly used for internal documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases. Its permission system lets different books or chapters be restricted to specific teams within the same install.
